Sean, I'm concerned about the image quality. Lets talk about the way you are photographing, lighting, with or without a tripod, where and with what camera. I'd like you to take higher quality images before it comes time for assembling your digital portfolio for colleges. This is VERY important for representing yourself in the best light (some pun intended).
